A working meeting at the State Duma on regional television

A working meeting at the State Duma brought together the management of Master Resheniy and representatives of regional television channels with Sergei Mikhailovich Boyarsky, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy.

Anna Kremenetskaya, general director of Master Resheniy, initiated the meeting to discuss current questions for regional television:

• Closing the shortage of domestic content on regional channels.
• Making the channels’ dealings with supervisory bodies smoother, namely the regional offices of Roskomnadzor.

The participants set out concrete steps, above all toward easing requirements from the regulator that the people at the meeting regard as excessive.

Proposals from the meeting will be prepared for further consideration.

The meeting thanked Oleg Parshin, general director of People's Television of Mordovia; Evgeny Glotov, head of the Tavria channel in the Kherson region; and Ilya Velikodny, program director of LenTV24.
